The National Football Museum remains closed after bombing

As a result of the tragic incident that took place at Manchester Arena earlier this week, the National Football Museum will remain closed until further notice.

The decision to reopen is currently beyond the museum's control it said in a statement on Friday.

'We continue to support the work of Greater Manchester Police and will follow their guidance on the lifting of the cordon that will allow staff and visitors to return to the museum.' The statement went on.

Visitors are advised to check the website for further information.
