Despite his injury woes, the 25-year-old Arsenal forward will become one of the leading faces for the German brand and was scheduled to wear the new adiZero F50 in Arsenal’s match against Crystal Palace on Saturday. A match the Gunners won 2-1 in the end but Walcott didn't feature.
Walcott revealed the news about the deal on his Instagram account with two separate posts.
The England international posted the pictures above onto his account and wrote: “Happy to announce I’ve joined the @adidas family #speedmatters #therewillbehaters #F50″
“I am excited to be joining adidas and lining up alongside some of the world’s best players,” Walcott added in a press release. “The adidas adiZero F50 is an exceptional boot and I am looking forward to scoring goals in them.”
Walcott has been in fine form for Arsenal since his return to action from a long-term knee injury earlier in the season. He has scored three goals in his last five games.
