Premier League club Arsenal have announced online foreign exchange company Markets.com as a new partner.
Officially designated as the Gunners’ forex, Contracts for Difference (CFD) and binary trading partner, Markets.com will activate the partnership in a number of territories with a particular focus on Asia.
While financial terms have not been released, the deal includes marketing and co-promotional rights, as well as matchday hospitality at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.
“We are proud to be partnering with Arsenal, who are one of the world’s leading football clubs,” said Francisco Rodriguez, the director of business development, Asia Pacific at Markets.com.
“Like Markets.com, Arsenal are a globally recognised brand who manage its business with transparency and integrity, consistently competing at the highest level.
“Partnering with Arsenal at this point in time is extremely exciting as we are focused on expanding throughout Asia and specifically in China, where Arsenal has such a large and growing fanbase.”
Arsenal managed their only their third league win of the season at the weekend, beating Sunderland 2-0.
