The aim is to give local clubs the chance to meet suppliers, fund raisers and a range of related service providers in one place in an informal atmosphere.
As FTD's John Booth explains:
'The range of exhibitors and delegates gives clubs a chance to meet suppliers and get some great deals in these difficult times. We also attract fund raising experts there to offer clubs advice on finding financial support.
'There are some well known brands like the Co-operative Bank, Sports Direct, Mars, BetBright, Ticketmaster and Wolverhampton Wanderers themselves exhibiting along with a variety of companies with specialised football products and services.
'The fact that we have Wolves Head of Football, Kevin Thelwell as our guest speaker is an added bonus.'
Ed Hall, Mars National Account Manager for Leisure said:
'Mars find the Football industry days very useful for meeting old and new clients in an informal environment.'
Joe Ross said:
'I run a small club, and we found the event very helpful. We ended up with discounted kit, and a cash scheme that helped us raise money for a new club house. Not bad for an hour or two's work. I'd recommend the event to anyone running a club.'
There are still delegate places left and they are free. The event runs 11-3 in the Stan Cullis Stand, Molineux. You can come and go to suit yourself. Free refreshments and parking.
