Hillsborough inquests: New investigation into Liverpool fans deaths

New Inquests were ordered in December 2012 when new evidence was revealed by the Hillsborough Independent Panel about Liverpool's FA Cup Semi-Final where the men, women and children died. The High Court quashed the original accidental death verdicts that had stood for more than 20 years.

The new investigations are due to last a year.

All 96 supporters were Liverpool fans watching their team take on Nottingham Forest at Sheffield Wednesday's ground Hillsborough.

Liverpool are set to host a special charity event 'Celebration of the 96' involving players past and present at Anfield on Easter Monday to celebrate the lives of the 96 Liverpool fans who lost there lives 25 years ago at Hillsborough.

Margaret Aspinall, Chair of the Hillsborough Family Support Group has said "We want this to be a celebration of the 96 - we were looking to do something in conjunction with the 25th anniversary and we hope this can be a huge show of support," Aspinall explained.
