Sheffield Wednesday beat Rochdale in FA Cup and give Stuart Gray job

Sheffield Wednesday  owner Milam Mandaric is regarded as one of the best Chairmen in football, and whilst he has often been accused of firing his managers too soon, he can also take his time replacing them. Ask Stuart Gray.
Wednesday have finally confirmed the appointment of Gray as their permanent manager after the club reached the 5th round of the FA Cup by beating SkyBet league 2 side Rochdale.
Wednesday chairman sacked previous manager Dave Jones at the start of December and Gray has stepped up from assistant boss to guide the club to five wins and four draws from 11 Championship games.

Gray was finally confirmed as full time boss on a two-and-half year deal.

Chairman Milan Mandaric said: "I am very happy to say that Stuart has been appointed head coach of Sheffield Wednesday.

"When he was initially asked to step in, his brief was to get us out of the bottom three, get some wins and clean sheets, and make some tangible progress on the pitch.

"Stuart has achieved all those things, he was given the chance'
