Scottish Football: Rangers agree shirt sponsorship deal with online casino 32 Red

eNewsletter

Scottish League One champions Rangers have secured a financial boost by agreeing a shirt sponsorship deal with internet gaming firm 32Red.

The online gaming company's logo will be on the famous blue shirts of Rangers when they take another step up to Scotland's second tier on their road back to the SPL, and rivals Celtic.

Whilst they will have to wait at least another season before competing in the same league as their Old Firm rivals, they will at least have the potential revenue from playing Hearts, who have been relegated from the top flight.

Rangers will become the third football club that the firm currently sponsors, alongside League One's Crawley Town and Newport County of League Two, whilst they have sponsored Aston Villa and Swansea, both of the English Premier League, in the past.
