England have dropped back down the FIFA rankings as they end the year in 13th in the world.
These rankings however, will not be used for the seeding of next summer's World Cup, which will be based on the last rankings which were announce in October.
Not that it would have affected England's standpoint, with only the top eight sides being given a seeding.
The top four remains the same, with Spain, Germany, Argentina and Colombia respectively occupying the top spots. Brazil and Portugal, who were 11th and 14th respectively are now 10th and 5th.
The home nations have had mixed results from the new rankings, with Scotland have moved up two places to 33rd, but Republic of Ireland (67th) and Wales (56th) dropped seven and 12 places respectively, while Northern Ireland remain unmoved in 90th.
