Wolves favour Owen Coyle as next boss

Football News 24/7
According to reports in the West Midlands, Owen Coyle is being lined up for a return to management with relegated Wolves.

The Scot has been out of work since being axed as Bolton boss seven months ago, following the Trotters relegation to the Championship.

He is belived to be the front-runner to replace the sacked Dean Saunders at Molineux after impressing chairman Steve Morgan and chief executive Jez Moxey.

According to Monday's Daily Star, after suffering a second successive relegation, Wolves want a manager with motivational powers, the ability to operate on a tight transfer budget and the enthusiasm to work with and develop young players.

Ex-Burnley boss Coyle ticks all those boxes and has joined Crewe’s Steve Davis and Kenny Jackett on the Wolves wish list.
