Manchester United wins commercial league with third quarter’s results

United commercial revenue for the third quarter increased by 31.9% year-on-year to £36 million with several new sponsorship deals the largest being eight-year training kit and complex partnership with current shirt sponsor Aon.

These figures also include retail, merchandising, apparel and product licensing which increased 9.5% to £9.2 million; and new media and mobile increased 13.7% to £5.8 million.

The Premier League champions also revealed that match day revenues for the third quarter increased 27.8% year-on-year to £34 million as did broadcasting rights.

A third quarter record profit of £25 million, puts the club in line to report 2013 fiscal year of between £107-110 million.
