David Moyes has always been able to get the best out of his playing squad whether at Preston North End or his current club Everton.
Usually slow starter to the season Everton have kicked on from the first game and Moyes once again has shown it is not the size of your transfer budget that counts it is about identifying quality and playing to your strengths.
Moyes who has yet to sign a new deal with Everton is clearly interested to know if he can secure sufficient funds to take the club into a Champions League position next season.
The proud Scotsman has been linked with Schalke in Germany, but most recently his name came up as a possible successor to Arsene Wenger's at Arsenal.
"I've always said that I wouldn't have a problem managing abroad and would want that opportunity in time, but it's not my main ambition or something I feel has to be done," Moyes said on Sky Sports.
"For a long time when I've been to see games in Germany I've been amazed by the atmosphere. People talk about the atmosphere in the Premier League but over there it's incredible.
"The stadiums are full, behind the scenes it works fantastically. The ticket prices aren't outrageous and nearly all the games are completely sold out. The big thing is that they're nearly all in terrific stadiums too.
Clearly the summer is a cross roads for Moyes who will have his choice of top clubs should he decide he has taken the Toffees as far as he can.
