Sir Bobby Robson Charity game

Football News 24/7

Join the action at Portman Road on Sunday 27th May and watch your footballing heroes in action on the pitch in a very special game.

Thanks to the generosity of two local businessmen, Paul Milsom and Johnny Wheeler, who successfully bid to play on the Portman Road pitch in the Sir Bobby Robson Breakthrough Auction last year, they have invited a number of Ipswich Town's ex-players to join them.

Milsoms' Maestros will be managed by Town favourite, Mick Mills.  The squad will include Matt Holland, Russell Osman, John McGreal, James Scowcroft, Jason Dozzell, James Pullen and Mark Venus.

George Burley will be managing Wheeler Wine Masters and their squad includes John Wark, Brian Talbot, Simon Milton, Fabian Wilnis, Richard Wright, Neil Thompson, Darren Currie and Marcus Garnham.

So bring the family along and enjoy a great day out which includes a Food & Wine Fair on the practice pitch, family friendly activities provided by the Ipswich Town Charitable Trust, face painting for the kids, a football freestyle demonstration plus a jazz band and some pre-match entertainment on the pitch.

Buy your tickets now for this fantastic event.  Proceeds will be donated to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation (Registered Charity No.1057213) and the Ipswich Town Charitable Trust (registered Charity No. 1101519).
