Middlesbrough set stall out for players for the future

Middlesbrough thanks to a Football Foundation Grant of £795,000 will benefit from a new state-of-the-art community sports facility that will rejuvenate grassroots football in East Middlesbrough.

A third generation (3G) artificial grass pitch and six-team changing room facility gives North Ormesby FC state of the art
facilities as part of five year Football Development Plan.

Ronnie Hebron, Secretary of North Ormesby Football Club, said:

“Without the Football Foundation we would have still been using containers to change in with no running water or electricity.

“The new facilities will really help North Ormesby Football Club grow and recruit more youngsters from East Middlesbrough to
play football and enjoy being part of a team and club.”

North Ormesby FC currently has 13 junior teams, two senior teams and a girls’ team.
