Liverpool have joined forces with Courts a Singapore-based retailer fronting Premier League club's international soccer schools in Singapore and Malaysia.
Liverpool's Managing director Ian Ayre said a the partnership:
"We are delighted to be partnering with one of Malaysia and Singapore’s retail giants, and be given the opportunity to coach and nurture young talents through our extensive training programme,"
"We have an exciting line-up of football activities which will help to bring out the best in each and every aspiring player. This unique partnership highlights Liverpool FC’s commitment to creating opportunities in Asia, following our opening of our representative office in Singapore in 2010.”
The statement from the club went on to say, 'During the December school holidays in 2012, members of the public will have the rare chance to sign up their children for soccer camps which will be hosted by coaches from Liverpool FC. A total of four soccer camps will be hosted - two camps in Singapore and two in Malaysia, with 48 participants per camp.'
Courts boss Terry O'Connor added, "At Courts, we stay committed to engaging and giving back to the community and are always on the lookout for interesting ways to do so. We are extremely excited to bring the Liverpool FC legacy to local shore and hope the upcoming soccer camps will be a huge hit
with our soccer-loving customers."
