Exit door opens at Manchester City

The transfer market hots up with Bayern Munich interested in signing goal striker Edin Dzeko from Manchester City.

As reported on Sky News, Dzeko wants to stay at Manchester City but the lack of starts with Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero ahead of him.

Dzeko scored a crucial goal against QPR on the last day of the season to win the Premier League title and with the demands of
Champions League football next season it is difficult to see Roberto-Mancini letting him go.

Dzeko scored 66 goals in 111 games for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

During the 2011–12 season, Dzeko scored four goals in one game for Manchester City, completing a "perfect hat-trick" against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. On the final day of the 2011–12 season, Dzeko scored an equaliser against Queens Park Rangers in the 92nd minute.
