An agreement securing Wrexham's future at the Racecourse for the next 10-15 years is a major boost for its
financial security according to Commercial boss Phil Jones. The deal was agreed with Glyndwr University and the football club earlier this week and it means if Wrexham get promoted they can register with the Football League.
“It’s great news for the stability of the club now that we know where we are going for the next few years.
“It is also important because we can take our commercial plans forward and gives a stable base for any
companies we may deal with.
“This is a great partnership with Glyndwr University that we can build on and I am a great believer in partnership
working.” said Jones
Glyndwr University’s vice-chancellor Professor Mike Scott has said they want to develop the Kop stadium in the
future and have already invested £200,000 in improving the Racecourse.
