Norwich City mourn death of ex vice-chairman

Former Norwich City Vice-Chairman and Director Jimmy Jones, who ran Great Yarmouth’s seafront Pleasure Beach, has died at the age of 73.

Mr Jones died at The Heart Hospital in London and leaves a widow Jane, son Albert, daughter Elizabeth and six grandchildren.

His son paid tribute to his father;

“He touched so many people’s lives. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He did a lot of work for the local community and he loved football. It was his real passion.”
