“The shirt sales so far are going really well, we have done repeats on both home and away shirts already and they have only been launched in the past few months which is excellent. The new look shirts are slightly different and give a European look to the club, which has gone down really well with the fans” Glen Wilkinson, Jako Teamwear's UK distributor told FTD.
'We have made some great progress since Tamworth came on board and have agreements in place with 2 more Blue Square Premier League clubs which we will be announcing in the next few weeks. The brand will now have good sound representation going forward into 2012/13 but we are still always on the look out for new partner clubs and relationships', he added.
With shirt prices set at attractive price levels- £20 junior and £30 senior sizes, some of the bigger clubs could take a leaf out of Tamworth's book, given what some clubs charge, and make shirt prices more reasonable.
