Spurs manager in waiting

With the sacking of Harry Redknapp, Spurs are on the hunt for a new manager.

Rumours were rife that Everton's David Moyes is front runner to replace Redknapp who left the club following crunch talks with chairman David Levy where the two parties couldn't agree on a new deal.

Roberto Martinez, Fabio Capello and Andre Villas-Boas also in the running.

Spurs under Redknapp have become Champions League contenders but with 4th place unable to secure the top table Levy has acted. After getting a taste of Europe’s most lucrative competition, the fans, players and manager are desperate for a return.

Last season following Redknapp link with the vacant England job the club saw a dip in form. The Spurs boss was both the hot favourite and the people's choice to lead his country at Euro 2012. However, the Football Association opted to appointed Roy Hodgson instead.
