Vics fans face long trek with some away games nearer!

Football News 24/7
Last week's decision by the FA to dismiss Northwich Victoria's appeal against playing at Stafford Rangers FC when the new Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South season kicks off ensures home fans face some travelling.

The club wanted to play at Flixton FC in the 2012-13 campaign, which is considerably nearer, but has lesser facilities. The Flixton proposal was dismissed by a Football Association commission held at Wembley last Friday.

The designated home ground of Northwich Victoria FC was confirmed as Stafford Rangers' Martson Road.

The FA had previously allocated the club a position in Division 1 South of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League following finacial problems last season and the sale of their Northwich ground.

The Evostik League has said no further comments will be made at this time.
