Everton were reported in the Daily Mail this week to have signed a new £1.7m deal with secondary ticketing company StubHub.
The deal is still to be officially confirmed by the Toffees but is thought to work in a similar manner to Aston Villa deal with rival ticketing company Viagogo.
StubHub launched its UK operations in December 2011, a move that was complemented in April 2012.
"In the UK, we've been really successful over the last six to eight months coming in and there's a huge appetite to work with StubHub," said StubHub director of business development and partnerships Danielle Maged.
"I think what we offer on the customer service and the security and our dedication to people is really attractive to people. So I think that you'll see that we'll have a ton of partners in the UK over the next two years depending on when contracts expire.
"The UK is a springboard for other territories in Europe," Maged added. "You can expect to see us advance, spreading. Definitely, I would say by 2013 we'll be in another country in Europe and then we're clearly looking beyond Europe."
