The team will be reverting back to white shorts to accompany a plain royal blue shirt with a dark blue collar and blue socks. The shirt fabric includes a moisture management system to quickly dispersed moisture across the surface of the fabric to help minimise moisture retention. This will ensure the players feel comfortable and stay cool in the new kit.
Club Captain Stephen Carr, Peter Lovenkrands, Chris Burke and Wade Elliott were on hand to model the kit before heading off to Austria for the preseason tour.
Diadora, established in 1948, has become one of the most recognisable sporting brands in the world and recently secured a 3 year deal with the Blues. This kit is the first of 3 to be unveiled this season and will be available in JD Sports, exclusive retailers of Diadora in the UK, at launch.
The kit will be available to pre-order at jdsports.co.uk before going on sale at the Blues Superstore at St Andrews and selected JD Sports stores in the Birmingham area in September.
The kit will be making its on-field appearance in the pre-season friendly vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach in Munich on Saturday.
