Partick Thistle saved from financial shortfall

Thistle shirt sponsor macb may have gone into administration but all is not doom and gloom as the club have announced a Glasgow-based firm who are eager to have their name emblazoned on the strip for the rest of the season with the possibility of extending the agreement next term.

The Jags have unveiled Just Employment Law as its new shirt sponsor until the end of the season.

The company, who specialise in legal services such as employment tribunals, trade union negotiations and business restructuring, said it was delighted to support its local team and will consider a further deal for next season.

Thistle Chairman David Beattie said: "Thistle have had a couple of financial blows in the past few months so we are delighted today to give the fans positive news as we announce our new front of shirt sponsorship deal.

Just Employment Law’s Managing Director David McRae said: "We are delighted to enter into this partnership with Partick Thistle, who are not only a venerable Glasgow institution but are also our local team.

"We believe this deal will further enhance our profile within the legal services market and that this will be a winning combination for both parties."

The previous shirt deal was reported to be worth £50,000 per season.
