They say in football that you are only as good as your next game and following 4-1 home defeat to Birmingham City which saw the demise of manager Simon Grayson, the 3-0 win at Bristol City will be a big boost as the club looks for a new manager.
Good news usually comes in twos and last Tuesday the club announced that Swiss luxury watch brand Ebel are the official partner for the remainder of the 2011/12 season.
Chief executive Shaun Harvey commenting on the deal
"The multi million pound redevelopment of the East Stand, combined with the global recognition of the Leeds United brand has provided the perfect environment for Ebel to join our growing Commercial Partners Programme. We are delighted to welcome another market leading brand to the club, and we look forward to activating the relationship with Ebel and their official stockists during the course of the season."
Linda Brandwood, Ebel UK sales and marketing director, added:
"I am excited by this partnership which will bring real benefits to both of our businesses, including the opportunity for us to showcase Ebel watches to the Leeds United fan base and conference guests. We will be working closely with our appointed official stockist Ogden of Harrogate throughout the season on activation of the partnership."
As they say time is a great healer and the Yorkshire club have started on the process on the field to match the commercial success off.
