Chorley FC reach 100 milestone for Win a shirt sponsorship package worth £10k

Football News 24/7
CHORLEY Football Club are offering businesses the chance to win a sponsorship package worth £10,000 as part of a new fundraising initiative. Launched by the EvoStik Premier Division high-flyers in December, the CFC 200 Club is essentially an exclusive raffle for businesses and brands eager to raise their profiles.
The winning company will have their name emblazoned across the front of the Magpies’ home shirts next season.
In addition, they will also receive four corporate season tickets for the season, an advertising board at the ground, adverts for a full season on the club website and in the matchday programme, and two personal appearances from manager Garry Flitcroft to help promote their business.
There are also 10 runners-up prizes on offer, including tracksuit sponsorship, Guest Lounge hospitality packages, and free business season tickets.
Tickets for the draw cost £200 each and the club is hoping to sign up 200 businesses before the end of March.

So far, 100 companies have signed up for one of the golden tickets and manager Garry Flitcroft turned up in person to hand over ticket number 100 to Shaw Hill Golf Club.
Flitcroft said: “The response we’ve had so far has been absolutely phenomenal.
“When we launched this initiative just before Christmas, it sounded like a great idea but even I have been surprised by how it’s taken off.
“It has clearly captured the imagination of the business community and it’s great to see so many businesses getting behind the club at this difficult time.
“We set ourselves a target of getting 100 members signed up by the end of January and I’m delighted to say we’ve achieved that.
“Our next target is to sell all of the remaining tickets between now and the end of March, when we plan to hold a special gala event to announce the winners.”
Chorley FC chairman Ken Wright added: “I’d like to thank all of the businesses that have signed up so far for their magnificent support.
“It’s well documented that the club is struggling financially and I can’t go into the details because of an ongoing police investigation.
“However, after staving off two winding up orders, the reality is there is still a lot of hard work ahead of us before we can say the club is back on a firm financial footing.
“The success of the CFC 200 Club has been a major boost and our next target is to sell the remaining tickets.”
Any companies interested in joining the CFC 200 Club are asked to call the club’s commercial manager John Derbyshire on 07966 308578.
