Exclusive: The FA appoints Bluefin Sport for grassroots football insurance scheme

The FA has appointed Bluefin Sport to deliver their new National Game Insurance Scheme which offers liability and personal accident protection for clubs, players, volunteers, leagues and match officials.

Laurence Jones, The FA’s Senior National Game Support Manager, said: “I am delighted with the launch of the National Game Insurance Scheme which goes a considerable way to improving the insurance available to grassroots football. This is, however, only the start of a long journey, as we look to educate participants and take the project into its next phase.”

Steve McGuinness, Managing Director of Bluefin’s Sport said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed by The FA to launch the new National Game Insurance Scheme and are confident that it offers those at the grassroots level an easy way to ensure they have the protection they need at an affordable price, leaving them able to focus on the most important thing - their game.”
