The Football Trade Directory has today announced a brand new partnership with the brmb Grass Roots Football Show.
New ownership brought a fresh new look to the show at the NEC in Birmingham in 2011 and it proved a huge success with exhibitors and consumers alike.
The 2012 event will again return to the NEC and will be held over three days 25th-27th May 2012 with a number of top brands and associations already confirmed.
The biggest event of its kind in Europe attracts a wide spectrum of visitors from across the UK. Coaches, managers, players and club officials flock to enjoy a combination of training and coaching, interaction, celebrities, and a vibrant market place where visitors can buy anything from a ball to a stadium.
Attendance figures at this year’s event were significantly up on 2010 and an even bigger audience is projected for 2012.
FTD’s Commercial Director John Booth commented on the new partnership:
"We have supported this event from its very early days and we are delighted to be involved. Our main focus will be helping to develop the exhibition side of the event to expand the range of products and services for grass roots football at the show."
Director of the brmb Grass Roots Football Show, Joanna Burns, commented:
"The partnership with the Football Trade Directory is an important step for the growth of the brmb Grass Roots Football Show.
"Our intention is to keep pushing the boundaries for this show and we are already excited about how 2012 is shaping up in what is a huge year for sport in the UK."
