What's your club doing this holiday?

Football News 24/7
It may be damp and miserable outside, but the half-term holidays offer clubs across the land the opportunity to engage with their younger supporters. But how many clubs engage with younger fans during the holiday break? From the news sources we get, not that many. With so many midwek fixtures, managers and coaches seem loathe to 'release' players for socila ctivuties with supporters.

At least Conference club  GRIMSBY Town are flying the flag for participation and  are running a special open training day during the half-term holidays. The Open Trainig day is alreday a huge success.

Supporters will be able to go down to Blundell Park to watch their favourite Mariners' players in a professional training session run by managers Paul Hurst & Rob Scott. This is a chance to meet the players and get their autographs after training. Every school boys dream!

Supporters can also register online to take part in a penalty shoot-out against keeper coach Steve Croudson, with a special prize for the winner.

Vouchers will be handed out to all who attend for 10% off in the club shop, and a discounted McDonalds (12pm - 2.00pm only).

The event takes place on Thursday 27th October from 10.20am - 12pm

Supporters must pre-register to take part in the penalty shoot-out. To do this visit the officila club website.
