Non League side Nailsea Town look for support

Football News 24/7
Non- League club, Nailsea Town  wants business people to sponsor banners at its ground at Fryth Way.

Senior fundraiser Gary Bray said: "As a club we've been well supported in previous years by local business outlets and our own club members but we now have to provide higher quality changing facilities on a par with other clubs and also to comply with strict league rulings after gaining promotion last season.

"Last season our first team gained promotion to the Somerset County Premier League after finishing runners up in a very difficult Somerset County Division One.

"The season went very well with a great run of 15 games unbeaten in 2011."

This was despite losing its number one goalkeeper Jason Mellor to Clevedon FC.

Mr Bray added: "Now we have gained promotion we are looking for companies to help get behind us as we aim to cement ourselves in the Somerset County's top Division.

"Having said this we now have to revamp our changing facilities at our home ground to comply with the league rules.

"We also have a girls team which we run and we try to encourage girls locally to get involved and enjoy the game socially as well as physically.

"We are offering all local businesses an 8ft x 3ft banner fully designed for as little as £175 for the first season and £100 thereafter."
