Soccerex are honoured to announce that Sergio Cabral, Governor of Rio de Janeiro, will be participating in the official opening ceremony of the Soccerex Global Convention, 26-30 November, Rio de Janeiro. He will be joining Soccerex Chairman Tony Martin as well as other senior dignitaries to open the conference programme.
Duncan Revie, Soccerex CEO commented 'Rio de Janeiro is at the heart of the football world; to have the Governor open the Global Convention is a great privilege and a mark of great distinction for Soccerex.'
As well as this impressive opening to the conference, the accompanying exhibition has also reached sell-out proportions with only a few spaces left available. The exhibition is a hub for business activity; as one of the main components of the convention it provides a platform for leading suppliers from around the world to showcase the latest industry products and services to delegates.
Exhibitors at this year's event include leading brands adidas, Wines of Brazil, Siemens and Philips; rights holders Esporte Clube Bahia and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo; international agencies XYZ Live, IMG and MoWA; technology companies Rapiscan, Prozone and Schneider Electric; stadium suppliers Fael Luce Brazil, Sportlink Sport Surfaces, Big Sports Grass, Terraplas and Forbex; plus regional governments and ministries, financial companies, charities and media to name just a few. In addition to all these exhibiting companies, FIFA have also confirmed they will be hosting a dedicated FIFA lounge on the show floor which they will use to host meetings and showcase FIFA services.
