Liverpool can put money men Man City into the shade

Manchester City may have a squad that most managers would dream of but there has been sign especially in Europe that they are beatable. The large investment by the owners Sheikh Mansour in the region of £800m needs financing and Champions League football is paramount.

But it's not just money that makes a football club successful as Kenny Dalglish says it's the backing of a vociferous Anfield crowd can inspire Liverpool FC to victory over Premier League leaders Manchester City tomorrow.

Liverpool have drawn their last three home league games but the 2-1 win over Chelsea and an electric atmosphere can help boost their push for Champions League qualification.

Unbeaten City have dropped just two points so far this season but Liverpool go into the game on on a unbeaten run in all competitions to nine matches.

“When it comes to the big games I think everyone really appreciates the support we get. It doesn’t matter how good you are, if you feel as if they have confidence and belief in you as a player it helps you.

"If anyone makes a mistake playing for this football club it won’t ever be a deliberate one.  said Dalglish.

Let hope his summer buys are good enough to prevent Man City extending their lead at the top of the Premier League as TV revenue is a major boost to both clubs and viewing numbers give the lead into re-negociation of TV rights.
