www.footballtradedirectory.com has teamed up with the brmb Grass Roots Football Show, the Non-League Football Paper and Gazelle Sports to give away £3,000 worth of sponsorship to a grassroots football club!
With many teams struggling with finances in the current climate, the Football Trade Directory is keen to lend a helping hand to the lucky club.
The winning club will get a voucher for teamwear from leading kit supplier Gazelle Sports, a voucher for equipment such as goals, cones etc and cash to a minimum value of £3,000.
In addition, FTD will be present at leading grassroots exhibition The BRMB Grass Roots Football Show at the NEC in Birmingham from June 3rd-5th at Stand B37 to give attendees the chance to enter as well as promoting the competition through partners The Non-League Football Paper.
Talking about the competition, FTD’s commercial director John Booth said: “The cost of running a grassroots football team is continually rising putting many clubs out of business and we wanted to do our part to help.
“With over 28,000 clubs on our site we are continually used by teams to find suppliers to help fulfil their needs. Grassroots football is the lifeblood of the national game and needs all the support it can get.”
Peter Deaman, Director of the brmb Grass Roots Football Show, said; “We are delighted to be supporting the competition that will make such a huge difference.
“Grassroots football clubs are finding it increasingly hard to secure significant sponsorship in a difficult financial period and this is a fantastic prize for one lucky team.
“Around 38,000 attendees are expected over the show’s weekend with the majority involved in running football at grassroots level and this fits perfectly in with our ethos of supporting the grassroots game.”
Prav Parmar, of Gazelle Sports added: “We are delighted to support this competition by offering a voucher for some of our teamwear. As a supplier to hundreds of grassroots football clubs we are always looking to provide high quality teamwear for the best value possible.”
The competition will kick off in the May 27th issue of the Football Trade Directory’s Newsletter, running on the site until June 16th. In addition the competition will be promoted on the The brmb Grass Roots Football Show website and in The Non-League Football Paper, giving clubs a number of ways to enter.
