The Total Football Show held its official launch with Birmingham City striker Kevin Phillips, Wolves legend Steve Bull and striker Ade Akinbiyi ahead of the event on July 8th-10th.
The trio spoke ahead of event that will provide three days of ‘Total Football' with tournaments, coaching sessions, seminars and exhibitions at Lilleshall’s National Sports Centre.
Phillips said: "The players attended the club’s Awards Dinner this week and the winner of the Supporter Of The Year award gave a brilliant speech.
"It confirmed to everyone how much passion there is for the club and how much it means to supporters to stay in the Premiership. The players were really moved by it and we’ll be doing everything possible to make sure we stay up."
Bull added: "Wolves have turned the corner at just the right time and I hope and believe they can survive now. Mick McCarthy has this knack of pulling results out when they’re needed and he’s done it in the last few weeks. To be honest, I want Birmingham to stay up too so we can keep having midlands derbies all through the season."
Talking about the show, Phillips said: "It’s going to be a great event for players of all ages and particularly young players who can come along with their parents to see and talk to professionals from all areas of the game."
Bull said: "The three days will provide an opportunity to see, learn and display football skills at a big event. There’ll be plenty of advice on hand to learn a few tricks of the trade."
