British football event The Total Football Show (8th-10th July) has announced that Physicool will be a gold sponsor of this year’s show and will be showcasing an innovative new product.
Launched in 2007, Physicool is a unique, stretchy and reusable bandage that combines cooling, compression and support, with its internationally acclaimed products used by some of the world’s top sporting stars.
It provides instant treatment for inflammation or bruising of muscles, tendons and ligaments without putting limbs in shock by drawing heat out through rapid evaporation rather than driving cold in.
Dragon’s Den millionaire entrepreneur Deborah Meaden gave the product her stamp of approval, by making an offer to managing director of Physicool, Kay Russell.
Excited at the prospect of highlighting Physicool’s benefits, and the brand new high performance cooling t-shirt to a new and receptive audience, Kay said: "The Total Football Show’s philosophy of promoting innovation and technology that truly benefits those involved in football sits perfectly with our own."
"A great deal of research and development has gone into our products and we look forward to educating players, coaches, managers and other professionals on its unique and measurable impact when treating injuries.
"Our brand new cooling t-shirt will be on display for the first time at the show. We will demonstrate how our advanced fabric not only moves sweat away from the body faster, but allows more oxygen-rich blood to be drawn to the upper body improving speed, power and endurance by reducing lactic acid build-up."
Richard Swift, marketing director of The Total Football Show said: "This will be Physicool’s first and only appearance at a football show this year so we are delighted to provide this exclusive for our visitors.
"We feel very passionate about highlighting innovative products to the football industry, especially ones that serve to aid player recovery and preparation."
The three-day event will launch at the prestigious Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Staffordshire from the 8th-10th July 2011.
