The Football Trade Directory’s London Open Day proved a great success with guests from a number of clubs and businesses in the football sphere enjoying a day of networking and seminars at Arcadis’ offices in London on 2nd March.
Following the positive feedback from the North West Open Day last September, FTD bowed to demand to hold an event in the south along with sponsors Gazelle Sports and partners Arcadis hosted us in their impressive Furnival Street offices.
Seminars through the day covered stadium development, the benefits of CRM systems to clubs, the power of imagery, Soccerex, emerging football markets and developing media channels.
There was also the opportunity to network in an informal environment as the day proved to be a triumph, with all those who attended finding the event well worthwhile.
James Pinniger, chief executive of sports photography agency Color Sport said: "An excellent event, fantastic venue and a good variety of speakers, I would definitely come again."
"A great event. I enjoyed the seminars and most importantly made useful contacts for the future, very well organised," added Benny Lawrence from PR agency Champions.
Reflecting on the success of the day, Football Trade Directory managing director George Moss said: "We had fantastic feedback from our original Open Day in the North West and were more than happy to hold an event in the south.
"Once again we had a fantastic turnout and we are pleased to bring clubs and businesses together in an informal atmosphere. We had some great feedback from the presentations and for the day as whole and we already have plans for a future event in to be held in the Midlands, which we will reveal further details of in due course."
"Footballtradedirectory.com is continuing to go from strength to strength with traffic at an all time high and new innovations such as FTD TV to improve the service to our clients."
