Puma will sponsor an innovative campaign to find future football stars at the inaugural Total Football Show at Lilleshall.
Running from July 8th-10th, the PUMA Search For A Star campaign will see the brand supply performance kit for players for the specially formed Search For a Star team who will take part in the Grassroots Tournament during the weekend. Puma is supporting a tournament that will be managed by Football Showcase, the specialist pro-training and trials academy, headed by former Chelsea defender, Joe McLaughlin.
Puma marketing director Roger Harrison said: "We’re delighted to be involved in the Total Football Show 2011. Their focus on youth development matches our own aspirations to support grassroots football and further grow future UK talent. We are excited to offer our support to this new event."
Show director Terry Moutter added: "To have an iconic football brand like PUMA on board is a tremendous feather in our cap and their support will undoubtedly help in making the first Total Football Show a successful one."
