New Rangers boss Ali Russell has decided latteral think is required if he is to improve the Ibrox club's finances off the pitch.
Potential ideas could be to arrange friendlies in potential new markets, look into new cup competitions or even take some of the biggest games of the season around the world.
Russell's background has been in marketing for Scottish Rugby Union, Hearts and QPR, will not rule out any possibility if it offers the club the chance to grow. The only no go area could be the idea of selling the naming rights to Ibrox.
Craig Whyte has tasked Russell with transforming the club's fortunes off the pitch, and has ambitious plans for the areas of possible expansion.
As Russell said to the Daily Record: "At this stage of the new era we consider everything but it's not something we'd go out and look at.
"Ibrox is synonymous with Rangers so I don't think it's something we would consider at this stage. We are very protective of our intellectual property."
Russell also went on to say: "How do we generate more interest in Scottish football, how do we become central to that and move it forward? In terms of pre-season, we went to Australia last year - do we now want to go to the US or Japan?
"What are the core markets we are going to be focusing on so that we reinforce it every time we do a tour, so we don't just go where the biggest cheque is."

An idea which would may gain struggle to gain support would be to look into the feasibility of a cup competition involving Scottish and English sides.
The operations executive said: "There has been a lot of talk of cross-border cup competitions.
"Arsenal and Manchester United have not been playing their best teams in the early stages of the league cup.
"A cross border aspect would generate a lot of interest. Should we be involved in those sorts of discussions? Absolutely. If we feel there's an appetite from the fans I see no reason why we wouldn't look at it."
