Turf specialist SGC Group has completed its end of season renovations for Football Conference side Darlington Football Club.
The Blue Square Bet club’s Darlington Arena saw the pitch removed using the Koro Field Top Maker, before being re-dressed and seeded. The work follows the installation of secondary drainage, during last year’s renovations, using the Koro Top Drain by SGC which helped to keep the Quakers pitch in peak condition.
Darlington groundsman Gary Ventress said: "We are delighted with how the new pitch is coming on for next season.
"The drainage lines SGC installed last year have done a fantastic job and we are looking forward to having a great pitch to kick of the season with."
SGC Group’s David Figgins-Barrett added: "Keeping a football pitch in top condition is an ongoing process but making sure all the correct work is done out of season is crucial.
"Once again thanks to our continued investment in technology and our experience we can ensure the best results in a quick turnaround."
