Conference side Lincoln City announce shirt sponsorship deal

Lincoln City have signed a deal with Accountancy firm Cathedral Business Services to become the club’s new shirt sponsor.

The three year deal will see the Lincolnshire-based firm on the front of the Imps’ away shirt and third shirt.

The Imp's chief executive Steve Prescott said: “I'm really pleased that Catherdral Business Services have agreed to sponsor the club for three years and we are very grateful for their fantastic support.”

David Featherstone of Cathedral Business Services said: “Having supported the Imps for over 40 years, I feel that now is the time to pledge backing for the club with the difficult times it is going through. The whole of the city has to pull together and get behind the club to help it regain its league status.”

The exact value of the deal has not been released but , Mr Prescott added: “This deal means that all the sponsorship locations on the kit are now sold and when you add all the individual kit sponsor packages together, I am sure it is one of the highest in the Blue Square Bet Premier if not the highest, and would be the envy of most Football League clubs. We are very appreciative of the support shown by all the businesses for their sponsorship.”
