Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea... Forest Green.
Blue Square Conference side Forest Green Rovers have joined an elite list of clubs by signing a three-year kit deal with Adidas.
The new kit was unveiled at Manchester United's Old Trafford last month as Rovers participated in a half-time penalty shoot-out competition during Gary Neville's testimonial match against Juventus.
The groundbreaking deal with the global sportswear giants is Adidas' first kit deal outside of the Football League and Rovers chairman Dale Vince is delighted with the new kit: "We’re chuffed to have Adidas as our new kit sponsor and the fact that this is their first kit deal outside of the Football League says something of the standing of Forest Green and the progress we’re making.
"The team will play in the traditional black-and-white stripes at home and will use the new ‘electricity’ kit for away games - with a third all red strip also available to them."
First team boss Dave Hockaday was understandibly happy with the deal: "We are delighted to have joined forces with Adidas, who are renowned for the design and quality of their sportswear.
"We see it as a real coup to be working with such a leading worldwide brand, which reflects the strides we, as a club, are making on and off the field."
