Tottenham Hotspur's new replica kit is the most expensive of all Premier League clubs for a family of four according to the latest figures released this week.
Whilst Harry Redknapp prepares to launch another multi-million pound spending spree ahead of the transfer window closing, the club's fans might feel that they are being hit hard in the pocket to fund that spree.
The findings are based on the price of buying long-sleeve replica home shirts for two adults and a child, as well as an infant’s kit with shirt, shorts and socks. It also included the name and number of a star player as well as Premier League badges on both sleeves.
Based on this criteria, Tottenham's family of four will pay £263, almost £100 more than the cheapest Wigan Athletic who would cost a family of four just £166.
The cost of replica kits has come under fire this summer with Consumer Focus, the Football Supporters Federation and Mumsnet all warning that clubs are in danger of pricing families out of the game.
