The Kingston-based record shop and concert promoter boasts the tag line ‘more than your local record shop’ and again they live by that motto. "Our whole business exists because of, and for, the Kingston community," Jon Tolley Banquet's MD says. He adds, "it’s really important to us to give back to Kingston, and sponsoring our local football club is a very visual way of doing so."
Now into the 4th successive year of shirt sponsorship, it looks like the relationship between Eden St and Jack Goodchild Way is strong. The multiple in-store promotions hope to be matched by on-pitch promotion as K's make a concerted effort to achieve a place in the Conference South.
Kingstonian Chairman John Fenwick comments, "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Banquet Records for their continued support by sponsoring the home and away shirts once again. Jon Tolley and his team are K’s supporters and we are pleased to have established strong links with them.
"We hope that this relationship will continue for many more years to come. We are also grateful to our new Vice-Chairman Chris Woolston, whose company Prestige Cars and Couriers has agreed to stand aside as shirt sponsor for this season. Chris has agreed that the sponsorship funds will be put to good use in another area of the football club."
