Solar energy is the buzz word in sport at the moment with several clubs across the globe signing agreements with national conglomerates.
We reported earlier this week on how Fulham FC had signed up an official energy sponsor and Bolton Wanderers have moved quickly by announcing a similar deal of their own.
The North West club this week announced a deal with South Korean, Hanwha Group to become one of the club's major sponsors for the 2011/12 campaign, with emphasis on solar energy technology.
"The addition of Hanwha Group to our growing partnership portfolio is an exciting new development," said Bolton chairman Phil Gartside.
"We look forward to developing a mutually beneficial long-term relationship, whose strong environment credentials and philosophies are closely matched with our own."
