With over 200,000 members and a global fan base it is not surprising that betting companies would clamber for the signing of Arsenal FC.
The Gunners have announced a new and innovative three-year global partnership with Betsson. The Malta based gaming company becomes the Club’s Official Betting Partner, providing both online and in-stadia betting services for Arsenal fans from this season.
The significant new deal is Betsson’s first ever football partnership, and will be focussed on creating a bespoke betting operation designed specifically for Arsenal fans. As part of this both online and in-stadia betting services will be delivered through a newly created brand, GunnersGaming by Betsson, with in-stadia operations starting at Arsenal’s first Barclays Premier League match of the season against Liverpool on Saturday 20th August 2011.
Commenting on the deal Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal’s Head of Global Partnerships said

Betsson follow Indesit, Thomas Cook, Carlsberg and Citroen as Arsenal’s fifth and final partnership signing in the lead up to the Club’s first Premier League home game against Liverpool on Saturday.
