Bus operator Arriva has extended its stadium naming rights agreement with Marine Football Club to the end of the 2011/12 season.
The Evo-Stik Premier League side’s ground has been known as The Arriva Stadium since 2006 with the new four-figure deal coming on the back of plans to develop the ground next year.
Marine chairman Paul Leary said: "During our sponsorship with Arriva Marine has received the National Non League Community Football Club of the year award for both 2009 and 2010 and recently received FA Charter status for the development of our junior football teams and work within the community.
Howard Farrall, managing director for Arriva Merseyside added: "The club itself is going from strength to strength and the work they do in the local area and for charity is fantastic. We look forward to working with Marine throughout the coming months and fully support the team who call the Arriva Stadium home."
