Former Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton has signed up to attend this year’s Grass Roots Football Show at the NEC in Birmingham whilst the show has also agreed a three year deal with radio station brmb.
Hughton, who won 53 caps for the Republic of Ireland and played nearly 300 games for Spurs, said he was looking forward to the event which takes place from June 3rd–5th.
"I have heard a lot about the Grass Roots Football Show from fellow coaches and I am delighted to be making my debut,” said Houghton, who is joining the likes of ding Robbie Savage, Graham Taylor, Chris Coleman, Iain Dowie, Dion Dublin and Peter Taylor at the event.
He continued: "The development of grass roots football in this country is vital to the game at all levels from the international and Premier League stage down.
"The opportunity for us all to interact and learn from each other during three days of football is very exciting and I look forward to meeting everyone at the NEC."
The deal with brmb will see the radio station host two live shows from the event as well as the naming rights which see the event called bmrb Grass Roots Football Show.
