Grass roots football clubs offered new revenue stream

A new opportunity for grass roots football clubs to earn sustainable revenue streams has announced it can offer an average income of £4000 per club.
Wear The Shirt is a ground breaking chance for clubs at the lower end of the football pyramid to make their own club magazine, a great way to engage with fans as well as raising funds for kit, coaching and the general infrastructure of a club.
Craig Rutherford, from Wear The Shirt, believes the potential earnings could make a huge difference to clubs.
“So far we are able to demonstrate to clubs a sustainable income stream which averages over £4000 per club per season based on an average of 5.6 teams and 17 players,” Craig said.
He added: “At the lower levels where finances are tight this revenue source could make a huge difference and help take clubs forward and onto the next level.
“We are set to launch with a monthly personalised club magazine, which is an exciting blend of professional news and features matched with each team’s pictures, captions and news articles.”
The concept has already gathered interest from a host of grass root clubs.  To register an interest clubs can visit www.weartheshirt.com, e-mail myclub@weartheshirt.com or call 0845 50 51 123.
