Irn-Bru Scottish Football League Division One side Dundee FC is facing a race against time to pay off a HMRC tax bill or face being placed into administration.
The club reportedly owes over £300,000 in unpaid tax. A statement on the club's site read: "The Board of Dundee Football Club met this morning to discuss and review the current situation. These discussions will continue to identify an appropriate course of action.
"We acknowledge the desire for the position to be clarified but would ask for the fans' onging patience as we continue to explore all avenues to achieve a resolution.
"We would expect the position to become clearer within the next 48 hours where a further statement will be issued."
