McDonalds renew Football Trust sponsorship

 

International fast food giant McDonalds has signed a four year sponsorship renewal with the Welsh Football Trust and FAW.

The deal will see McDonalds continue to support the FAW Club Accreditation Programme and raise its grass roots profile by becoming an official supporter of the FAW Football Leaders Award.

Speaking of the extension Neil Ward, chief executive of the Welsh Football Trust, said: "More and better-trained coaches is a winning formula for a healthy grass-roots football structure."

Alastair Marks, McDonald's' head of sponsorship commented: "Over the last eight years we have enjoyed worked to help improve the level of football throughout the country and over the coming four years we are looking to work together to build on this success.

"Our primary focus is to continue to help raise the standard of coaching throughout Wales"
