Arsenal recruit Communications Director

Premiership club Arsenal FC has announced that it has appointed Mark Gonella as Communications Director after an exhausting recruitment process.

Gonnella an experienced communications executive who enjoyed a previous role as Corporate Affairs Director at Barclaycard, will join the Gunners senior management team from 1st January 2011.

Speaking of his appointment Gonnella said: “This is an absolute dream job for me. The opportunity to bring two great passions of my life - football and communications - together in my day to day work is irresistible. Arsenal has a compelling business plan for the future and effective communications will be a key part of making those plans come to fruition.
